WordPress Website for Oxford Flooring Specialist
A New WordPress Website to Replace Failing Legacy Site
Classic Flooring Oxford is a specialist flooring company offering experienced flooring services for over 20 years to the Oxford area. The previous website at classicflooringoxford.com was not performing well for the business. Put together by a friend on WordPress, the website was clumsy, missing content, not at all optimised and did no favours for the brand’s image. A large ad spend with Google was effectively being wasted as the landing pages did not convert any leads at all.
Because the website was connected to Google ads and some pages were ranking with Google, a vital first step was to carry out a full page audit to ensure that urls on the new website matched existing ones. Redirects were set up for any urls that wouldn’t be included in the new website.
The new website was designed to match Classic Flooring Oxford’s new branding – also created by Pink Ted Creative. With a fully responsive layout, the site’s pages have been optimised to gain maximum visibility for the brand, with the aim of turning that Google ad spend into profit.
Within days of going live the website had already attracted several enquiries for this client – a huge relief after zero results from the previous website.
